This is
not your ordinary

ShopLocal2Win is a simple yet sophisticated promotion guaranteed to get your community to:

Everything we do is designed to support the economic recovery of main street businesses, protect local jobs and preserve the unique character of communities across Canada.

Shop and Spend More
Try New Places
Think Local First

Shoppers are rewarded for every $25 purchase (in person or on line) with a chance to win $1000 weekly.

The more they SHOP, the better their chances to WIN!

“This contest has been an incredible gift by these two talented and generous women. Even some people that don’t normally go out of their way to shop local are telling me they came to my store because of the contest.”

Sam Care (Owner),
Playful Minds Toy Store

Businesses get an impactful way to entice people to shop more, thank those who are already committed local shoppers and encourage the community to support them in other impactful ways.

There are no fees or registration required for any business in a BIA to participate and they’re ALL automatically included.

It’s no wonder then that over 95% of businesses want their BIA to run this contest again!

This contest was just what we needed. Our members felt supported by the BIA and the community. I can’t imagine a better event to have launched during this challenging time
for our small BIA of just 90 members. The $51,000 in
reported incremental spending was an amazing win under
such difficult conditions.

Chair, Hillcrest BIA

This contest started as a passion project to help our local businesses at a critical time.

After the success of the first iteration in our beloved St. Clair West neighbourhood last spring we rebranded and expanded to serve other communities for the 2020 holiday season!

ShopLocal2Win is now helping over 800 businesses in three BIAs. With over 40 years of combined marketing experience and a passion for city-building it feels like we’ve been preparing for this moment our whole lives.

Mary is the former Marketing Director of Tourism Toronto and Delta Hotels, where she executed the largest national contest in the company’s 25-year history. She also consulted for several BIAs and led the Centennial Celebration of the Wychwood Car Barns in partnership with the City of Toronto, TTC and Artscape – an ambitious and successful event involving 60 activities across three BIAs in St. Clair West.

Kim is an accomplished sales and marketing professional specializing in strategy and execution of print and digital campaigns for clients such as Hello Fresh, BMW and Air Miles.  Kim’s drive and passion for community led her to winning a 2019 TABIA Award for the Hillcrest BIA, referred to as the “Feel Good Laneway Art Project”, featured on CBC.
