This contest started as a passion project to help our local businesses at a critical time.

After the success of the first iteration in our beloved St. Clair West neighbourhood last spring we rebranded and expanded to serve other communities for the 2020 holiday season!

ShopLocal2Win is now helping over 800 businesses in three BIAs. With over 40 years of combined marketing experience and a passion for city-building it feels like we’ve been preparing for this moment our whole lives.


Mary is the former Marketing Director of Tourism Toronto and Delta Hotels, where she executed the largest national contest in the company’s 25-year history. She also consulted for several BIAs and led the Centennial Celebration of the Wychwood Car Barns in partnership with the City of Toronto, TTC and Artscape – an ambitious and successful event involving 60 activities across three BIAs in St. Clair West.


Kim is an accomplished sales and marketing professional specializing in strategy and execution of print and digital campaigns for clients such as Hello Fresh, BMW and Air Miles.  Kim’s drive and passion for community led her to winning a 2019 TABIA Award for the Hillcrest BIA, referred to as the “Feel Good Laneway Art Project”, featured on CBC.
